New “Hate Crime” legislation takes a U-turn today when a mother had her two year old arrested for a hate crime. Mrs. Ima Always-Right told this reporter in an exclusive interview that her daughter Drucilla threw her rattle at her( mom) and said “Mommy I hate you.” afterthe toddler Drucilla was told to eat her” veggies” by her wary mother.
Apparently hate crimes PER- SE cover a broad scope of the population. This alone and by itself is a “miscarriage of justice” states the toddlers attorney , Mr. Harry Underarmn the minor’s chief council. Although infants statements may not reflect true hate, the rattle thrown at said mother clearly defines “malice and intent” stated prosecutor Richard Utterface.
Although offenses against mothers by toddlers may not be significant at this time this case will set precedent no matter the outcome. Not specifically in legal language are mothers covered by hate crimes but females are. A survey was taken when this reported crime took place. One person wanted to know if a for example a Lithuanian said in his home language that he hated and threw an ice-cream cone at the Eurasion ice cream man cause he did not get the right snow cone. Another man a Honduran, asked if a Caucasian who cussed him out in Russian and threw a pool cue at him could be construed as a hate crime even though he did not know the “haters” language.
In another state a trans-sexual was denied entrance to a tanning spa for lack of proper “ID.” The victim wants civil remedy and is further looking into if this denile falls into a “hate crime” category. Apparently the attendant at the health club accidentally asked the member if he was a trans-lucent. “I was offended by that question, as I do not glow in the dark.” How far will it go?
Most hate crimes in nature are truly horrible. Are not most assaults committed out of strong dislike? You are struck in the mouth because you flipped the bird at the guy in traffic who cut you off? Is that a hate crime, or is that road rage? or is it both. What is hate? To know hate you must know love. In most short wars the objective is peace.
Why aren’t there “Love Crimes.” Someone rips off some jewels cause he or she loves diamonds, at least that is what is told to the cops. Hypothetically, a kid rips off a candy bar because he has no money. He tells the shop owner, ” I stole the candy bar cause I have no money and I love candy.” Any crime offense against a person could have a “special circumstance” clause to it. Hate is hard to prove, but love is even harder……..
