Anna Nicole Smith’s doctor, Khristine Eroshevich is the subject of a probe by the California Medical Board. The doctor prescribed tons of illegal drugs to Nicole shortly before her death. 11 authorized prescription medications were found in Nicole’s hotel room. Of these prescriptions, over 600 pills were legally prescribed, and those pills included over 450 muscle relaxants.
More than 600 pills were missing from bottles found in Anna’s room, however it is not clear if Smith consumed all 600 of the pills. 62 tablets of anti-anxiety drug Valium were missing along with 79 tablets of anti-seizure medications, Topomax and Klonopin. Furthermore, at least two diuretics were missing together with antibiotics, antivirals, and potassium supplements A lot of the medications were not in Anna Nicole’s name, but in the name of a companion.
Eight of the prescriptions were in the name of Howard K Stern, a companion who was a past lawyer of Nicole’s. Two prescriptions were in the name of Alex Katz. Sources are unsure of this person’s connection to Nicole. One prescription was under the name of Nicole’s psychiatrist, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich. Ersohevich went with Nicole to Florida, which was where the star died. Because of the private nature of the medical arbiter, little is known about the case. Eroshevich gave no immediate response to phone calls made to her house.
It has been officially determined that no foul play was involved in the death of Anna Nicole, and police investigations found no illegal drugs in Nicole’s room. The cause of death was accidental overdose from sleeping pills. Nicole’s autopsy determined that she was taking a strong painkiller, methadone and a weight reducing, muscle building agent human growth hormone. However, these drugs were not found in her hotel room. Before her death, Anna had stomach flu and her temperature went up as high as 105 (40.6 Celsius) degrees. Nicole also had an infection in her buttocks from numerous injections. These factors are considered to have contributed to Nicole’s death. Previously another doctor was investigated for being suspected of prescribing a heroin substitute to Anna Nicole.
Smith became notorious after she married billionaire, J. Howard Marshall in 1994 at the young age of 26. Marshall was an 89 year old oil giant. About a year later after the marriage, Marshall died which created a very long legal battle over part of his fortune.
