We have two CiCi’s Pizza’s in town now and they both stay crowded at both lunch and dinner. The all-you-can-eat buffet for only $3.99 is a kid pleaser for the finicky eater and also friendly on your pocketbook! Cici’s Pizza was created with the family in mind. The first restaurant opened in Plano, Texas in 1985 with the chain experiencing growth each consecutive year.
You will likely have to wait in a short line to place your order and pay for your food. You will receive a tray with your plate, utensils and cup for your drink. You will then enter the pizza line, which is cafeteria style and help yourself to the fares.
The buffet at CiCi’s contains a wide variety of pizza and toppings. You will find meat pizzas, combination pizzas, veggie pizzas, mexican pizzas, and fruit pizzas for dessert that are all served up hot and ready to eat. There is a separate salad bar that includes makings for a tossed green salad or Cesear’s salad. There are also choices of macaronni salad, fresh vegetables, fruit, croutons, bacon bits and several options for salad dressing. As you exit the main serving line you will encounter the soft drink station. All major flavors are available as well as tea.
From The Menu
You can also order pizzas from the menu with your choice of desired toppings. They also have a take-out service.
Cici’s pizza is not a gourmet pizza, but a decent pizza nevertheless. It is fresh and has a decent taste and well worth the $3.99 for an all-you-can-eat buffet. One thing I have noticed is the pizza is not dripping with grease here. That makes it a good dining experience in my book! You will find a variety of crusts on the buffet but nothing special like a cheese filled crust. They do have a nice hand tossed crust and a crispy thin crust if that is your preference.
The dessert bar is a favorite of young and old alike. They offer a blueberry pizza, cherry pizza, apple pizza, chocolate pizza, cinnamon rolls and another pastry puff coated with powdered sugar and drizzled with chocolate syrup. That is my personal favorite!
Cici’s offers a very laid back and kid-friendly atmosphere. They have a small game room with several coin operated games. The dining room is large and holds several small TV’s for their customer’s viewing pleasure. However, if the place is packed you will have trouble hearing the sound to the television.
The restaurant was clean and we received very friendly service on our visit. I would recommend this restaurant to any individual or family for an enjoyable and inexpensive meal.
