I love paid to read sites. It is kind of an adventure to find the really good ones. Sometimes along the way, I come across some that are just not worth a person’s time or effort. A WholeLotOfGreen is one of them. Here is my review of the site:
Their Referral Program: This is the first thing I look at. You need to be able to make money from referrals if you are going to continue to make a decent amount of money each month. AWholeLotOfGreen only offers 18% of your 1st level referral’s earnings and 2% of your 2nd level’s earnings. There are so many sites that offer 25% of my first level referrals earnings and even have a 2nd and 3rd level referral program. Since I know a lot of other sites that pay more, I wasn’t impressed.
Getting Credit for Offers: Since you can’t make a whole lot of money from referrals, you must look to see what you can make from your own efforts. I spent 2 days completing offers and couldn’t get them to credit. They also require you to enter your email address or username in to each box before clicking submit. That wouldn’t be too bad, but half of the offers also require you to paste your entire email in to the form before you can click pending. That takes up a whole lot of time. I spent all that time and the offers didn’t credit anyway.
Minimum Withdrawal: You can get paid by check or Paypal when you reach a minimum of $20. I like the sites that pay when you reach a minimum of $5, but I do belong to some great sites that have a $20 minimum. It isn’t impossible to reach, so I didn’t have too much of a problem with this. It does concern me that they have a button marked denied on the withdrawal page. I am not sure why a payment would ever be denied since you have to wait for your offers to credit before hand.
Forum: AWholeLotOfGreen has their own forum. This is always a positive thing because members can discuss which offers are crediting, show payment proof, and give tips on how to get more referrals to the program. There isn’t a whole lot of activity going on in this forum, but it looks like it just got started a month ago. In all fairness, it might get better in a couple of months.
Overall, I don’t like this site. The website itself isn’t attractive, and there are buttons on it that has no function. For instance, if you click on upgrade it will tell you there are no upgrades. I think the referral program could be better, and the offers need to credit or no one can make money. The forum itself only had 1 post in the Proof of Payment category. I recommend spending your time on some other great sites like ReadersPaid, CashCrate, GangsterGreed, or Hits4Pay.
