Bath & Body Works has a line out called True Blue Spa and lets face it, what girl can resist a spa product and Bath & Body Works? Well I know I can’t and its starting to look like an actual goal in my life is to obtain every Bath & Body Works product ever. Whether it be good or bad, something I have tried before, or something totally new to me, I just want to try it all. Mocha My Day is one of the newest additions to my Bath & Body Works collection and after the first use, it shot right up into my top five list of Bath & Body Works products.
Scrub a Dub Dub
When I think body scrub, I think exfoliating and when I think exfoliating I think of super soft glowing skin. That’s not really what I got from the scrub. It actually foams up like a body wash when you start to rub it on your skin (which I love) and a little bit goes a long way since it does this. My skin does glow for a while after using this scrub, but it goes away pretty fast. When I use it all over I always feel like this scrub does help, but I did finally test it out one day and used the scrub on one leg and not the other. Visually there was no difference and both legs felt the same. I guess it doesn’t really help that much, but I love it just the same.
This scrub is coffee infused and true to the Mocha name, it smells absolutely wonderful. It has a smooth, creamy chocolate smell that leaves me half way tempted to eat the stuff right out of the jar. According to the packaging, the coffee scent is supposed to help you get up in the morning, but does not keep you up all night. I don’t use it in the morning, when I think spa, I think nighttime and relaxing not relaxing only to go to work and be driven insane. I usually keep my spa stuff and happy stuff for nighttime and the last thing this scrub does is keep you up all night. If you’re not a big coffee or chocolate fan, you’re probably not going to be a big fan of this scrub either.
It’s not what you expect from a scrub, but it does make a wonderful body wash. I love the feeling of the little grains of coffee scrubbing up against my skin and sometimes I was the same spot over and over again just so I can keep experiencing the heavenly mocha smell. I think that for $12 this is a great buy and a must have unless you hate coffee, chocolate, and/or feeling good. This is in my top five list of Bath & Body Works items and that’s saying a lot. I have to say that my only concern is that all that coffee and stuff makes the bottom of my tub feel like the beach.
