The Crazy Bear Hotel Group is opening a brand new resort. If you have any occasion to travel to the Beaconsfield area of the United Kingdom anytime after the Spring of 2007, this may be the perfect hotel to make your vacation special. I’d be tempted to encourage any connoisseur of bizarre traveling experiences to visit this hotel, or either of its two already existing sister properties, but that would defeat their exclusivity. For these Crazy Bear hotels are not only unusual but they are truly one of a kind.
Perfect for anniversary occasions, a health and wellness holiday, and especially a honeymoon, Crazy Bear Hotels provide luxurious accommodations in Oxford shire, London and soon, Beaconsfield. With an array of extraordinarily themed room settings, allow yourself to become inspired by history, stoned on the artwork and mesmerized by the physical sensations that seem to cater to every last one of your senses.
The rooms offer luxury like never before seen in a hotel setting. With elaborate marble sculptures as simple coat hangers, vinyl (or a similar fabric) chairs upon Zebra striped carpet and bathtubs that fill from the ceiling situated none other than at the foot of the king sized bed, this resort will surely thrust your right brain into creative drive. Either that or, depending on why you are there and who are lodging with, it will turn your hopeless romantic fever up to the extreme.
The most infamous of the Crazy Bear Oxford shire rooms seems to be the “suite noir”, I will call it, inspired by 18th century French furniture and fit with copper trimmings and mirror frames. The room is decorated with black painted walls and a silver ceiling to give one perhaps a sort of Edgar Allen Poe sort of somber giddiness. Other theme rooms include the Peppermint room, designed to reawaken travelers with refreshing colors and an attached sun room and the White Room, filled with, quite predictably, all things white.
For a resort hotel that obviously takes great care in the richness of their visitors’ experience, the rooms are available for a very good value. In British Pounds, travelers can pay anywhere from $120/night for an art-deco accommodation to $375 for what Crazy Bear calls an Infinity Suite. These quotes are for double occupancy rooms. Singles can pay as low as $95 per night in one of the Art Deco rooms. Weekends are rumored to fill up very quickly so be sure to book your stay in advance. At the same time, however, do not hesitate to call and check for last minute vacancies should you have a spontaneous need or desire to visit the area and luxury resort hotel. Also wandering around through vacationers’ gossip is the fact that Crazy Bear occasionally offers great discounts if they can fill a vacancy with only three to four days notice.
The Crazy Bear resort hotel is not only great for couples and independent artists but it is a desirable location for groups as well. Hold your business meeting in their private and secluded log cabin and what they call the Oak Room where your associates will have access to free wireless internet, catered breakfast and presentations, if you so desire, shown on a large screen theatre projection. Or when the season is right, host your wedding and reception right at the hotel utilizing Crazy Bear’s terrace and garden areas for intimate the intimate and festive gathering.
Finally, as if the room amenities were not enough, the Crazy Bear Oxford shire offers a unique and fancy cuisine with your choice between a Thai or European theme. They also have over 100 wines to choose from and fresh, fine champagne on tap! Any hotel that can beat that should contact me immediately. I’ll be your newly devoted guest.
