The background noise of the TV, or a an extra-loud commercial could jar you from an otherwise peaceful sleep.

The number one way to make your bedroom conducive to sleeping is to invest in a firm, yet comfortable high-quality mattress. One third of you life is spent sleeping, so if you are still sleeping on a lumpy mattress you had in college, it’s time to upgrade.

Just as you may need a new mattress, you may also needs some new sheets, a new comforter and some new pillows. Go for a high thread count for sheets. Have a lighter comforter for warmer weather
