The autopsy report on Anna Nicole Smith isn’t in yet, as I write this. But I have a high suspicion that selfishness killed her. In other words, drugs. I don’t think she committed suicide, but even if she did, then selfishness is the cause either way. Because if she didn’t commit suicide, then I bet it was an accidental drug overdose, or the lethal combination of drugs and alcohol. Since she was only 39, I doubt it was heart disease.
Why was she screwing with drugs, when she had a 5-month-old daughter, and allegedly, a new man in her life, one who reportedly she was engaged to? I keep hearing about all the troubles and struggles and what a hard life she’s had! Spare me!
What about the hard life that so many average women have? And you don’t see THEM dropping like flies from drug use. For example, the mothers of the Columbine victims seem to have gotten on with their lives without sinking into the hell-hole of drug use. In fact, at least one of the Columbine parents has used the experience to lobby for more gun control.
What about all the struggles of the Katrina victims? Or any woman who’s in the poor house with three or more kids to feed? What about mothers without medical insurance? About 46 million Americans have no medical coverage-how stressful can THAT be!
Anna Nicole never had to worry about how to pay for any medical or dental care, car repairs or mortgages. This alone should buy peace of mind. She lived in a beautiful house, had her figure back, wasn’t diagnosed with cancer, and her new baby was healthy. How difficult could her life have been, then?
Yes, I know she recently lost her son to drugs. And she was still dealing with that. Well, my great aunt lost both a husband and a son (disease and plane crash, respectively), and she never touched an illegal substance, and is still alive today in her 80s. Anna had her baby daughter to live for. That should have been enough. Many infertile women would sell their soul to have their own flesh and blood to take care of.
And what about Anna Nicole’s fiancé? What about her parents? Siblings? She had a lot of good things going on in her life, but she just had to take drugs to lift her spirits. How stupid and selfish. Yes, I know she was struggling with the lawsuit regarding the fortune of her late oil tycoon husband. But is this any reason to take dangerous drugs? She wore expensive jewels and lived a ritzy lifestyle; she was hardly needy.
Shame on Anna Nicole for being so selfish, depriving her daughter of having a mother-even IF Anna’s ability as a mother was always up in question. Oh, I forgot-she also had a beloved pooch! I swear, no matter how horrid my life ever could become, if I ever wanted to lift my spirits, I’d just hug my big White German Shepherd for an instant, legal, and very safe high!
But I guess cuddling the pooch, and playing with her healthy baby girl, weren’t enough for Anna. Her daughter will grow up knowing that Mama had to turn to drugs to be happy.
