With all the new tax laws and the fact that I’m employed full-time and a student. I was searching for a tax profession that would not only help me understand the new tax laws but assist me in obtaining the largest tax refund that I could.
I found Doubleday Tax Service, a place where I feel comfortable, all my questions were answered and I knew that I was getting the best service possible.
The first thing that impressed me about Doubleday Tax Service was the website. The website informed me of the experience of each staff member. The website offered calculators for taxes and financial planning.
The website has a smart decision center that is a host for several tax topics. Smart decisions inform readers about education, home deductions, medical deductions, charity deductions, and more. I have to say that my favorite area is the education area where educational deductions and obtaining financial aid are explained in detail.
Doubleday treats their clients like family and they want to assist with every aspect of tax preparation and financial planning. Their goal is to work closely with each client to help them achieve their goals.
When Julie found out that I wanted to get into investing for retirement at the age of 34. She was happy to assist me with information about investment portfolios and new ways to reduce the taxes that I have to pay to the federal government. This was a big difference when I compared it to the other tax professionals that I had been to.
The staff members at Doubleday Tax Service know about preparing for a financial future and obtaining a great refund on your taxes.
Chuck, the founder of Doubleday Tax Service has been in the business for 12 years. His specialties are taxpayer representation, small businesses, rental properties, individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax preparations.
Chuck is also an Enroll Agent for the Internal Revenue Service. Chuck previously worked in the aerospace field for several years.
Julie is highly qualified, as she has worked for in the field for over 5 years. She is also an Enroll Agent for the Internal Revenue Service.
Patrick Young has thirty-nine years of experience as an Internal Revenue agent.
I like the fact that Doubleday Tax Service is family owned and operated. Well except for Patrick. Chuck Doubleday is the founder, his wife Jan runs the office, their daughter Julie helps clients but also helps run the office with her mother.
The also have family values. Patrick is still part of the family and does a lot of volunteer work with VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance).
Even though Chuck, Julie, Jan and Patrick are dressed in casual clothing and look like your next-door neighbors, they still offer a professional atmosphere in the office. There is no cow-herding going on in this office. Even though the office has over 300 clients, every client of Doubleday Tax Services is treated as an individual. There is privacy to your financial information and documents.
Doubleday Tax Service price rate is competitive with other local tax service companies. Unlike other tax service companies, Doubleday Tax Service does not charge you to have a consultation with one of them.
