To Make a Easter Card puzzle craft Project You Will Need:
Foam Art Boards (You decide how many. You can substitute thick cardboard for this to
Save some money)
Easter Card (photo copied to size)
To start this easy Easter Card puzzle craft project you need to choose a Easter Card you do not mind cutting up. You could even photo copy the Easter card and have it printed out in another size at Kinko’s.
Next, decide how big you want to make your Easter Card puzzle craft. You can make it as small as 2″ X 3″in this case I would recommend using cardboard instead of foam board. You could also make this Easter Card puzzle craft project as large as 8″ X 10″.
Take your Easter Card to Kinko’s and have it photo copied.
You will need to grid up your photocopy and cut it to go on your puzzle pieces.
Now, for what I think is the fun part of this Easter Card puzzle craft project. You need to make your Easter puzzle pieces. Simply cut out your puzzle pieces, making sure they fit together and eventually cover the square footage you want.
Now, lay you photocopied Easter Card puzzle craft pieces face down on your work surface. Make sure they are lined up correctly and touching. Basically they are making your photo face down.
Start on the top left, placing your first piece of the Easter Card puzzle craft down. Use a pencil to trace it out. Add another piece and keep tracing. Continue this until all of your Easter card is traced out to match a puzzle piece. Cut your puzzle out.
Apply a light coat of spray adhesive to your foam board puzzle piece. Lay the corresponding piece of Easter Card on. Smooth an air bubbles out with your hand. Continue repeating this process until you have finished.
Now, cut out your foam core board puzzle pieces.
Tip: Do not use decoupage to adherer your Easter card to the puzzle pieces. As it dries it will bend the foam board as it dries.
Recycle and old shoe box or small packing box to hold the puzzle pieces. You can have an extra print out of the card made and glue it on top of the box to always have a picture of the finished puzzle to look at. This will certainly help the kids when putting this puzzle together,
