Slavery is a vial institution that is bad for whites, bad for immigrants, bad for blacks and especially bad for America! The law of God is not for people to be enslaved and work to death as their owners relax and watch the slaves like cattle. Blacks do not enjoy being enslaved. Abolition needs to happen immediately. The rest of the world has come to its senses and laid rest to this terrible, terrible institution. Slavery cannot be allowed to spread west, travel north, grow in the south or continue in the United States of America!
Contrary to what the newspapers and products from the south would like America to believe, the black race does not enjoy being enslaved. Plantation owners robbed blacks from Africa. They took blacks from their families, their homes and their way of life. On the plantations they live in deplorable conditions, crammed together with little to live with. They are abused, raped and worked to death. God looks down on blacks living on these plantations and cries for them.
Free the slaves! Plantations need to free the slaves and seek redemption. Seek redemption or be condemned to hell! As a nation we cannot afford to allow emancipation to happen gradually. Enslaving other humans is a demonic way of life. The longer we are retaining and reinforcing this institution the more and more black individuals die, both physically and emotionally.
The United States of America is one of very few countries left in the entire world that still allows slavery to take place. In the handful of nations that allow slavery it is becoming more and more of an unacceptable foundation. In this country, however, slavery is thriving. Why is this country such a savage and inhumane creature? The rest of the world, especially Europeans, sees us as immoral, godless people with no respect for human life.
As the United States of America grows southerners want to spread slavery into the newly created states. Slavery is diabolical and immoral. The spreading of slavery cannot be allowed to occur. The more slaves that are allowed to be brought into this country, either through the slave trade or through birth, the more we have to take a stand. Americans are not godless savages. But slave owners are in direct conflict with the Bible. Matthew 7:12 states “All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the Law and the Prophets.” These slave owners should be imprisoned and mistreated as they do to their slaves. No man in this world deserves such treatment.
Furthermore, slavery in the south must be prevented from expansion. Children of black slaves should not be punished by being born slaves. All slaves should be set free! There is no excuse for retaining slavery. With all the immigrant workers arriving in this country by the thousands, cheap labor is readily available. Slaves are not like immigrant workers in any way. Slaves have one major difference; they are trapped on the plantation.
Slaves can be hurt and abused more than any man should be. If a paid worker was treated as a slave, even a low paid worker, he has the opportunity to leave. Slaves that leave the plantation will be thrown in jail, or returned to the plantation where they can be punished even more viciously than before. Some slaves that have tried to escape the bounds of the plantation have been killed by their owners, like oxen that have outlived their use.
Southern slave owners would like the rest of the country to think that slaves want to be enslaved. But as I have been mentioning throughout this article slaves are ill treated and abused. Individuals like Frederick Douglas, who himself is one of very few free slaves, brings to light how badly slaves are treated. He tells us all about the life of a slave on a plantation. His story tells of abuse; beatings, wiping, poor nutrition, deplorable housing and so on. If we were to believe that slaves enjoy this type of living then why are so many trying to escape their immoral masters?
William Lloyd Garrison is a white northern man who, like myself, petitions for the end of slavery. He makes public speeches and spreads the word of freedom like a disciple sent straight from God. The word needs spreading and slavery needs to come to an end as soon as possible! Slave owners need to release their slaves! Masters and servants is no way to lead a life on either side of the argument.
The abolitionist word is kept out of the south, however. Garrison and Douglas are prevented from speaking in the south. Every abolitionist is kept from speaking in the south. Therefore it is absolutely necessary for people in the north to push for legislation in congress to end slavery immediately. Congress needs to debate this openly, without the fears of backlash and resistance from the immoral plantation owners who live in the south. They don’t need slave labor to survive; immigrants can take the place of slaves. Once slaves are freed plantation owners can hire them back for pay, if they wish. There is no reason economically, socially and especially religiously for the institution of slavery to persist in the United States of America!
