by sumo nova

A week at camp may seem like a short stint in the middle of the summer, but it is a stint that can often have long term impact on a child’s life.

A week away from home, softball, swim team and just the usual summer routine is often a great way to get in touch with the word of God and build quality friendships. Kids also get to experience some great outdoor activities like rock climbing, swimming, canoeing, fishing, hiking and nature walks, horseback riding and exciting group games.

Kids also get the chance to make new friends and learn new skills in a variety of areas.

One great camp that has lots of options for kids and families is Village Creek Bible Camp and Retreat Center in North East Iowa.
