First, let me say I am not either democrat or republican so my opinion is unbiased. Many of the media made statements to the fact that the President would have difficulty getting anything done in his last two years because of the democratic congress. I do not agree with this thinking.
The people voted and put these representatives in office. Representative means you represent the people of your state. Regardless of their personal beliefs and feelings they should not be allowed to vote or act the way they want to in office.
To oppose the President just because your a democrat and he is republican is stupid and they are not representing the people of their state. Their pettiness and stupidity should never be allowed in office.
If the President has an idea which is good for the country than voting against it cause they are democrat is not doing their job. They need to vote according to what the people in their state want not what they want.
The conflict in Iraq we should never have gotten involved in but now that we are we cannot quit now. Our leaders know this and congress should be aware of it as well. To vote one way just cause they are democrats makes no sense.
Its not only the Iraq war they disagree with but just about everything the President plans on trying to implement these last two years.
For example other nations do a better job with health care than we do. We are the greatest nation in the world but we fall short is some areas. Instead of congress doing their jobs and making this nation better they fight each other and the President. If the President is from another party they make it their business to fight him on issues.
No wonder so many people are disillusioned about our government because they cannot overlook their differences into making this country better.
I don’t know about you this kind of thing makes me angry that we cannot get our leaders to work together. The media does not help the issue by adding fuel to the fire.
What will it take to make this country great again? How long must our leaders and representatives sit in office and fight over the issues instead of solving them? Where is the accountability for our representatives? How long will we waste elections to vote party lines?
Some of these so called representatives should not be in office cause they are not representing you or me but themselves.
Its time we fix our government and elect the leaders who will do their jobs and represent us. They make us look stupid cause we keep putting the same old representatives back in office.
Wake up America and and lets make this country great again.
