What causes an otherwise good an in many cases honest student to purchase a college term paper that may or may not buy them a good grade? Why do they spend their hard earned money and take the chance of failing or being caught plagiarizing when they were perfectly able to write the college term paper themselves. After all, if they are accepted into college, chances are they can write a half way decent paper.

The reason many college students end up hiring someone else to write a term paper is procrastination. This tutorial will tell you how to complete your term paper on time. This way you will never have to consider purchasing a term paper again.

Start your college term paper immediately: Term paper assignments are given early in the semester before students have become overwhelmed with other work. While it might be perfectly reasonable to wait until you have learned more of the class curriculum before starting the paper. It makes even more sense to start gathering research on the first day of class. Another excellent reason to start your research immediately is to secure the best books from the library before the other students take them all.

Analyzing and understanding the college term paper assignment: It is important to understand what the teacher is looking for in your term paper. Determine whether he or she wants you to do reports, analysis of issues, or a persuasive paper. Consider your choices of topics and pick on you are passionate or reasonably knowledgeable about. If you have any questions about the paper, do not hesitate to ask the instructor.

Gather research for your college term paper: Once you understand the topic and scope of your assignment, it is important to start gathering research materials. Week 1: Gather research materials. Spend some time at the library exploring your topic. When you find information that will support or enhance your paper, take it home.

Week 2: Write your outline. Your outline should start with your thesis statement, the position you plan to take in the paper, and the organization of the paper. It will end with your conclusion statement.

Week 3: Write the rough draft. As you write your rough draft, you will eliminate information you have deemed useless, and further develop your ideas. Do not worry too much about the paper being cohesive at this point. Just get your ideas on paper.

Week 4: Refine ideas and gather additional research information. This week you will want to look over your paper and make sure your ideas or cohesive and in an order that makes sense. If you find that, your ideas are not complete, or need to be backed up, now is the time to go back to the library for additional research.

Week 5: Re-write the Draft. Use week five to add the additional information to your paper, and rewrite your draft. By this time, your understanding of your topic will be well developed and you will have an easier time writing a cohesive paper.

Week 6: Correct errors and write the bibliography. While your classmates are attempting to write their entire college term paper from scratch, or attempting to purchase on online, all you will need to do is edit your paper for grammatical errors and write your bibliography.

So, you can see if you plan your paper accordingly instead of procrastinating, you will be able to hand in your college term paper on time and without stress. You will never considering purchasing a term paper again.
