It is said that your bachelorette party is your ultimate send-off into married life, so it’s important to make sure that you plan the perfect party that you and your guests will always remember. Following are tips to help you plan the perfect party.
Start planning in advance:
If you’re planning on reserving a location or getting a stripper, it is wise to start planning your party well in advance. Try to start as early as 6 weeks before the actual date. This will ensure that you avoid disappointment by missing out on something you really want. If you are planning the party yourself it may be a good idea to get your matron of honor in on the planning with you. This will not only allow you to get another persons opinion, but you’ll also be able to divvy up the tasks, which will save you time and sanity in the end.
Choose an ideal location:
Whether you choose to have your party in a private residence or in a public club, the location of your event will probably determine its success or failure. When choosing a location it’s important to try and keep your guests in mind. For example, if you have guests between the ages of 18 and 20 attending, you won’t be able to have the party at a bar where the minimum age limit is 21. If you have very rowdy friends and easily annoyed neighbors it’s probably a good idea that you don’t use your home as the location. Luckily, there are a number of places to choose from; you just have to pick the one that will be the most convenient and fun for you and your guests. Some great locations to consider are clubs (private and public), bars, hotels, private residences and casinos.
Select a Stripper:
If you are anything like me, you are definitely going to want a stripper there to entertain you and your guests. The best way to go about getting one that will be worth the money is to do your homework. Find an agency that is reasonably priced, but that also has what you are looking for. You of course want the guy to be hot, but you’ll also want to know other things too. For example, how long does he perform for? For those of you with your mind in the gutter, by perform I mean dance! If you want two or more performers do they offer a special discount? Do they charge extra if the stripper has to travel a certain distance to your party? What types of themes do they offer (policeman, fireman, etc)? Once you find an agency and a guy (or guys) that suit you, you’ll want to book them well in advance of your date. Entertainers of this nature can get booked weeks, even months into the future, so if it’s important that you secure a certain guy, it may be best for you to put a deposit on him the minute you’ve set a date for your party.
Behave yourself:
I know, this may be hard when there is a half naked hottie shaking it just for you, but if you want to get married with a clear conscience I suggest you keep your hands to yourself. Set limits ahead of time on what’s appropriate and what’s not, and let the agency you book through know your wishes in advance. It may be okay for the dancer to get close to you when performing, but touching in places only your fianc should touch is a no-no. If all else fails, keep in mind that you shouldn’t do anything that you wouldn’t want your fianc to be doing with his stripper!
