A fellow writer for associatedcontent.com recently told me some members of her family have moved to North Carolina. They are at Fort Brag awaiting deployment to Iraq. Having read one of my other NC articles she expressed interest in one closer to where they are, instead of the mountain articles I tend to write. So here are some of the best beach rentals in North Carolina. I have included condos and rental houses to be found on the North Carolina Coast.
You may be in the military on leave an avid golfer or just somebody wanting a getaway. Whatever the case North Carolina has a lot to offer. Our beautiful coast has lots of great places to explore and things to do. I hope you enjoy these North Carolina beach rentals.
Angel by the Sea- Surf City North Carolina
This is NOT a condo, it’s a duplex cottage. There are no pets or smoking and you must stay off the dunes. They offer a fully equipped kitchen and a walkway to the beach. It has a deck, covered parking, central air, and beach front, surf fishing, an outside shower among other things. 1 bedroom and 1 bath, and a one week minimum stay.
Resort Vacation Golf Resort Villa- Sunset Beach North Carolina
They have 1, 2, 3 or 4 bedroom condo rentals and are 1 mile from the beach. The resort offers three signature golf courses Dan Maples, Willard Byrd, and Rees Jones. All the condos offer fully kitchens, separate dining rooms, a large living room with TV and VCR/DVD. Sunset Beach is the smallest of the New Brunswick Islands with 3 miles of beach.
St. James Plantation-Marshwinds Condo-Golf Haven near Southport North Carolina
This is a 2nd floor condo with a screened porch overlooking a small pond. Their greatroom style living area sports a couch and 3 chairs. The dining room seats 6, and the Master Bedroom has a king sized bed. The other bedroom is a lockout with 2 double beds, a kitchenette and a laundry closet. Located on St. James Plantation, 45 miles from Myrtle Beach and 25 miles from the South Carolina border. St. James has four golf courses designed by P.B. Dye, Hale Irwin, Tim Cate, and Nicklaus Design as well as a marina, outdoor and indoor swimming pools.
Kelly’s beach retreat- Corolla North Carolina
Rental home with a Florida Room, large kitchen, decks and ocean views. 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, maximum capacity is 12, smoking is allowed, no pets and a minimum 7 day stay is required. They are 5 minutes from the Currituck Golf Course and a basketball goal is provided at the house. They have games, a movie collection, a porta crib, and other neat things.
Elegant Ocean Front Condo on Private Family Beach- Indian Beach North Carolina
Condo that has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, located on the 5th floor. The Master Bedroom has a wall mounted TV with cable. Kitchen contains a microwave, a food processor, coffee maker a toaster and other goodies. There are plenty of throw pillows in the cozy living room. There are games, puzzles, and a balcony entrance in the living room as well. They have a private beach, 3 large outdoor pools and a heated indoor pool. Lighted tennis and racquetball courts, exercise room, indoor and outdoor hot tubs. They also have full time security and boat trailer parking on site. See their site for minimum stay requirements as it changes from season to season. I will say they have a very affordable rate listed, but check for that as well.
Beautiful Ocean Front Condo- Atlantic Beach North Carolina
Probably the most affordable one in my article. 2 Bedroom, 2 baths, recently remodeled condo. Sleeps 6, 1 queen, 2 doubles and 1 twin bed. Has an ocean view balcony and is near fishing piers and other attractions. No pets and no smoking please.
