Pepsi Cola Recipes, Uses and Tips from a Pepsi-holic

by sumonova

Okay, I am like many other people out here in the real world but I have an addiction that I do not deny. I get up in the morning; turn on my computer, roll a cigarette and crack open a cold Pepsi. I am addicted to Pepsi and it’s been that way for years now and I do not see that fact changing. Okay I am addicted to my computer as well, but that is truly another article for another day perhaps. If I run out of Pepsi within a few hours I get a migraine, and I am just plain mean and nasty to be around.

I am putting my request in at work a local nursing home that should I ever lose my ability to give myself a drink they are to add a straw to my can and help me out. If I should ever be in the need of thickened liquids, make mine Pepsi. If I ever have to have a feeding tube you damn well better pour me some Pepsi down the tube or I am going to be one mad patient. Al kidding aside I drink it everyday, all day long and should I go into a restaurant where they don’t sell Pepsi I drink root beer, rather then the other cola which has no name.

My favorite use!

Place a few cans of Pepsi in a snow bank and let it sit for half and hour or so, then enjoy it. Of course this only works when there is snow on the ground, which is a bummer and a half.

If its summer time or you live where there is no snow place a few in the refrigerator and drink as desired.

Make mine fully loaded, none of that unleaded (caffeine free) or diet stuff for me. I dislike those special flavors as well, but have tried them.

Cooking with Pepsi

Use Pepsi to baste your Christmas Ham or your summer chicken. You can even marinate meats for the grill in Pepsi, for a real treat.

When you are baking substitute the water with an equal amount of Pepsi for a unique taste. You can even use Pepsi in icing. I am going to add some Pepsi recipes links at the end of this article for you to try. These recipes are among my favorites.

All purpose Uses

Yes I’ve heard the stuff about Pepsi cleaning rust and blood and yes I admit I tried it to see if it worked. It works but man what a waste of a good drink! It’s got many uses such as relieving a jelly fish sting and that’s better then using urine for relief! If you burn something in a pan, boil some pepsi in that pan and the stuff will lift out as if by magic.

Health and Beauty Uses

It relieves tummy aches, the back door trots, head aches, and is rumored to relieve impotence. It relieves morning sickness if you drink it flat before you get out of bed.

If you have long hair and want to have plenty of beautiful curls then dump a can of flat Pepsi on your head and then rinse out. This tip is for those women with naturally curly hair or a perm with curls. Personally I have never tried it, and I don’t think I ever would.

Pepsi will even remove gum from hair, but I am betting it would be uncomfortable leaning your head over a bowl of Pepsi for the few minutes it would take to soak it away.
