Product Review: Crest Wild Expressions Toothpaste

by sumonova

I was sent these products for my daughter and me to review, and was terrified that we would hate them and never get to do another review. I was especially afraid because they wanted my daughter’s opinion on video (look for my Crest wild Expressions Video Review on Associated Content) because you never know what she is going to say. My fears, however, were quickly relieved. She loved the products, and so did I, though we liked one flavor less than the other. Here is what my daughter and I think of Crest Wild Expressions:

The packaging of Crest Wild Expressions Toothpaste

I have seen this shape bottle before and I actually prefer it to toothpaste tubes. It stays upright on the counter without the help of a toothpaste holder, and therefore it takes up a lot less space. There is also no lid to lose and very little of the toothpaste is wasted because the toothpaste is more liquid and comes out easily.

Ease of use of Crest Wild Expressions Toothpaste

Because of the liquid gel nature of the toothpaste, you do not have to deal with a long tube where you have to work the toothpaste from the back to the front in order to maximize the output from the tube. The bottle is also an excellent size for young hands and they can apply the product to the toothbrush, using just one hand. With that same hand, they can flip the lid back on, so no toothpaste will escape or dry and cake in between uses.

The Flavors of Crest Wild Expressions Toothpaste

Crest Wild Expressions Toothpaste really tastes good. The flavor is much milder than the strong mint and or baking soda taste of most toothpaste. After using it, we found that our taste buds did not feel assaulted. We were even able to drink orange juice after brushing our teeth!

Burstin’ Bubblegum was the least favorite flavor of ours. It was not offensive in anyway, but it was a flavor that neither of us are especially fond of. If I had to compare the flavor to something, I would say it tastes just like Bazooka Joe bubble gum. As a matter of fact, a friend of mine absconded with my unopened bottle, as she loves bubble gum. To each his own, right? As for the Cinnsational swirl flavor… She would not have made it to the door with a bottle of this. We love it. It tastes exactly like a Cinnabon pastry. After the test, my daughter took both bottles into her bathroom, and I was left craving a cup of tea.

The effectiveness of Crest Wild Expressions Toothpaste

Crest Wild Expressions Toothpaste got our teeth very clean. Normally I use whitening toothpaste, but this toothpaste did just a good a job of getting our teeth white. Nothing on the bottle suggests that it is whitening toothpaste, but I swear to you that it is just as effective. Because of the pleasant taste, I believe it will cause my daughter to brush more often (several times a day) which will lead to healthier teeth and gums.

The likelihood of us buying Crest Wild Expressions Toothpaste Again

I am typically not a brand loyal person. When it comes to toothpaste, I buy what is on sale. However, several factors might cause Crest Wild Expressions toothpaste to land in my shopping cart on a regular basis. Although a tube of toothpaste may be cheaper than Crest Wild Expressions, much more of it will be wasted through squeezing mishaps and missing lids. Even if another tube of toothpaste may guarantee whiter teeth, frequency of brushing due to the flavor of the toothpaste, will guarantee less cavities. Finally, the cleanliness factor of my sinks due to the toothpaste consistency will make me happy.

The likelihood of me stealing my children’s Crest Wild Expressions Toothpaste.

All of the communication I have received with this toothpaste says it is made just for tweens. This means my 10-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son, should love it. But what about me? I like it too. I may have to steal if from time to time. Perhaps Crest should make a flavor of Crest Wild Expressions Toothpaste for Adults. I vote for Chocolate for myself and Cappuccino for my husband…Oh, and my son would like peanut butter.
