Since its debut in 2001, Rockstar’s long-running digital media competition, Rockstar Games Upload, has recognized and awarded a fantastic cross-section of the high-minded and the masterfully lowbrow alike across the fields of Short Subject Film, Deejay Mix, Short Fiction and Multimedia Design. Previous winners have ranged from the fledgling amateur given their first taste of widespread exposure, to the seasoned professional, including the likes of commercial and music video director Adolfo Doring (for 2002’s “Karaoke Man”), and Matt Fraction of renowned digital design studio MK12 (for 2001’s “Man of Action”) and Roman Cortez of southern Californian comedy troupe Seven Oh Five (for 2003’s “Skid Marks”), to name just a few.
Now in January 2006, we are pleased to present the cream of this most recent edition – the very best creative works, as deemed by Rockstar Games, our esteemed judging panel of industry professionals, and our category sponsors, Independent Film Channel, XLR8R Magazine, Flaunt Magazine and Design Is Kinky.
Without further ado…
