The article Sprint cell phone service review by Heather Shockney has me baffled. Not that I don’t believe that this did indeed happen to her, I just don’t think this is the experience for everyone. So here is my experience with Sprint.
I have had sprint for 3 years just as heather did. I have to say so far I love everything about them. We also have the sprint fair and flexible plan. Our nights and weekends also start at 7 pm instead of 9 pm. That for an extra 5 bucks. We also have the insurance on both phones which is a couple bucks per month. In addition to that we added roaming to out package. My husband drives a service van for a living so there is no telling where he will be at any givin point. When he is on the phone he does not care if its roaming or not, he talks. So for an extra 5 bucks a month he can talk all he wants while roaming and we incur no extra expenses.
Several times I have called sprint making sure our bill choice was the right choice for us. They are also very quick to answer the line. I have never had to wait very long to speak to a real worker. As we all know going through them automotive machines is the most long and horrible thing you can imagine. Well This is not the case when you choose Sprint. They are also very friendly. They look over my bill, Tell me my average. They then go over there plans that would fit me the best. Tell me which one is right for me, and usually they are right on the button. Only one time I have actually switched my plan, and that was to get on sprint’s fair and flexible plan which is awsome. You pay on flat rate and you never have to pay certain amount of money for every minute you go over. Instead they do a plan that for every hundred minutes you go over it is a flat rate of 5 bucks. We have picked a plan that was around what we use in minutes and hardly ever go over but I don’t worry about it if we do. I talk on my phone and never pay attention to how much I talk. Me and my husband can talk to eachother for free, which is what we needed. Most of out phone calls are to one another.
Last year my husbands phone broke. The screen went blank. He could not see anything he was doing on it. Making it hard to check messages, look up phone numbers and call people. We took it up to the sprint shop they Looked at it and asked if they could keep it for the night. We said sure no problem. The next day I went back up there to pick it up. I was then told that the phone could not be fixed. They had a brand new phone waiting there for me. This phone they set up for my husband. They connected it to his old phone and transfered all his numbers. Everything saved on his phone was now ready to go on the brand new one. They also had it sitting on the desk charging and waiting on me. So I took home a fully charged and programmed phone. I said thankyou, paid them nothing and was on my way.
A few months ago, My toddler broke my phone. No one could hear anything I was saying on it. I decided that I wanted to upgrade my phone anyway. So I took my phone up to sprint and told them it was broke and if it couldn’t be fixed then I just wanted to upgrade to a different one. My phone could not be fixed. They looked up on the computer and since I have been with them so long that I had a 150 dollar credit to go toward the new phone. Works for me. I picked out a new phone and it was around 180. The only thing that made me a little upset was since I was upgrading I would have to pay for an activation charge of like 50 bucks. Sprint never told me that. My option for that was they could wave that fee if I renewed my contract for another 2 years. I said sure, I love sprint and was not planning on switching for any time soon. So I renewed my contract for another 2 years, and I walked out of the store with a brand new up graded phone for around 30 bucks. If you ask me thats a deal. They show loyalty to their costumers which is a huge plus in my book.
My experience with Sprint has been different then Heather’s was. I love this company and everything about them. They have plans for everyone and anyone. Their costumer service is outstanding. I always refer people to them. I tell anyone who is unhappy with their service about sprint. I ofetn get asked by peopel if I work for spint. I laugh and then tell them no I don’t.
