Last weekend, United for Peace and Justice staged a rally in Washington DC to protest the war in Iraq and were backed by the usual left wing Marxist suspects. Lest I be accused of “McCarthyism” by those with their heads firmly planted in the sand, please be aware that the list of supporters of this group and this protest is freely available on United for Peace and Justice’s own website. This list contains more than a few groups who, unlike this front group, are bold enough to freely use the terms “socialist” and “communist” in their names.
Go take a look at the list yourself (source) to see names like the Communist Party USA, Young Communists League, Democratic Socialists of America, Freedom Road Socialist Organization, Freedom Socialist Party, International Socialist Organization, Socialist Alternative, and Socialist Party USA. It’s also educational to read through the list and notice that it contains other groups using kinder and gentler synonyms for their ideology like “progressive”, “green”, etc. And of course, mingled in are other apologist groups for dictators like Fidel Castro in Cuba. But let’s also not forget the hypocrites at the National Organization for Women who apparently have no qualms about women being oppressed under Sharia Law.
It might seem odd to the casual observer that these groups would try to portray themselves as “anti-war” especially considering that Marxists, socialists, communists and other left wing tyrants have started more than their share of wars over the years from World War II to Vietnam. But to the non-casual observer who has actually reviewed history it is clear that they are not against war per se. Rather, and quite simply, they are only against war when it is waged against their fellow travelers.
When it is the anti-Marxists, anti-socialists, anti-communists, and those unapologetic for tyrants that are pushing back the left wing’s kindred spirits war is a bad, bad thing. But when it is their fellow ideologues on the rampage slaughtering all that disagree with them and establishing “paradise” after “paradise” complete with bread lines, food rationing, gulags and walls adorned with machine gun nests to keep people in? Well that is quite ok!
If you doubt this just look at how they act. Take for example Hanoi Jane Fonda who was one of the high profile speakers at the event. Remember how she got the name “Hanoi Jane”?
She got it by rushing off to North Vietnam and while sitting on an AA battery rallied the communists against the United States and the South Vietnamese. But when the United States pulled out of South Vietnam did Hanoi Jane run to sit atop a South Vietnamese cannon as the communists rolled through the country side and subjugated the people? No, she did not.
Why? I thought these people were “anti-war”? Again, when you look at history you find that they are only against any war that attempts to stop their “comrades” from instituting “paradise”.
What they are ultimately against is those people audacious enough to fight against them and their plans. Because as long as there are people that are willing to fight, their “paradise” will never happen. People that are willing to fight stand in the way of their goal is what really eats at their blackened souls and drives them into the streets in an orgasm of wild protests.
They run off to support communists, fascists, and dictators of all stripes abroad while at home they are working their tails off to demoralize the citizenry and the troops with ludicrous propaganda and further to disarm the American people by rewriting the clear wording of the Second Amendment.
After all, it’s a heck of a lot harder to subjugate people that actually believe they should fight back and are armed to boot!
They wage a propaganda war where their “useful idiots” decry war while around the world the head left wing ideologues wage wars against anyone that dares to oppose them. They sanitize the names of their front groups while proudly posting that they are supported by the communists and socialists on their websites. They talk about how you are evil if you believe in defending people from tyranny in a plot to weaken resolve and convince you that fighting just isn’t worth it.
So please, stop fighting. They can’t get to us “paradise” as long as you are willing to believe that liberty is important and that your individual freedoms are worth dying for. Don’t you understand? You’re the problem, not them!
