Austin regretted telling his plan about throwing the previous immunity challenge. He thought revealing his plan would work in his favor, but instead it back fired on him.
The winners of the reward challenge this week were picked up by a boat and sent to a spot where they received breakfast in bed. Also, the winners got to decide who was sent to Exile Island, but there was a new twist this timeā¦one person from each losing team would be sent to Exile Island. Aras, Bruce and Sally, the winners of the reward challenge, sent Austin and Danielle to Exile Island.
When the boat arrived to take Aras, Bruce and Sally to their reward they were shocked to see a big bed sitting on a sandbar. What was so shocking? The bed was soaked from the heavy downpour. But what made matter worse was they too were soaked. However, when the basket of food arrived they felt better as they stuffed themselves till they were full. In my opinion, a soaking wet bed is not much of a reward.
The rain put a damper on everyone. They were all miserable from the rain. They couldn’t build a fire, and as a result, the only thing they had to do was huddle together in their shelter; they were all cold and wet.
Terry told Sally he had the idol. What was he thinking! I would have NEVER breathed a word about it. I guess he really trusted Sally. If there’s one thing that’s always said in this game it is, “never trust anyone!”
It looks as if Terry is carrying out part of my strategy, because for the second time in a row he has won Individual Immunity. He’s been fighting hard to win the individual Immunities when he knows he needs it, and he’s hanging on to the secret Immunity in the process. The only thing he’s done wrong, so far, is he told Sally that he found the secret Immunity Idol.
But wait, now he’s really blown my strategy…he decided to also tell Austin that he found the secret Immunity Idol. However, it didn’t end there either. The next person Terry decided to trust was Danielle, and he showed the Idol to her. Not only did Terry show Danielle the Idol, but he also offered to give it to her if she would join their little tribe.
This may or may not be smart, but if it were me, I would not tell a soul if I was the one holding the secret Idol. I really don’t think it’s a smart move on Terry’s part, because he’s already shown he’s a strong player by winning individual Immunity two times in a row, and this makes him a target in competitions to come. Now they may join Terry, but as soon as the rest are voted off, they may plot against Terry.
You see, they know that he will eventually have to use the secret Immunity, and the first time he loses an individual Immunity challenge they could all plot to vote against him, in order to force him to use the secret Immunity. Then, the next time he loses they will vote him off completely. Or, they could actually be loyal and keep him around, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Austin ended up being voted out, and this made him the first jury member. Tune in next week to find out who goes next?
Before you go, post your comment and let me know what you think about Terry’s plan. Do you agree with me? Or, do you think Terry’s plan is brilliant?
