Aspiring fashion designers will have a chance to meet with some of the biggest names in the fashion industry at the upcoming TEEN VOGUE Fashion U being held in New York City on October 27th – 29th. Attendees will be able to attend seminars focusing on everything from getting started in the fashion industry to fashion photography to fashion education.
The success of recent reality shows like Project Runway and MTV’s The Hills has ignited a renewed interest in the fashion industry. Fashion schools around the country, including Parson’s in New York and FIDM in Los Angeles, have reported a surge in applicants.
While all aspiring fashion designers can’t be on reality shows, they can take advantage of great seminars like TEEN VOGUE Fashion U. There they can soak up knowledge and experience from some of today’s hottest fashion designers and other fashion industry gurus.
