There are dealerships that provide multiple brands on the lot and then there are those with just a single brand. Here are a few of the places in Raleigh you can find a lot with a clear focus on one brand.
Saturn of Raleigh
Saturn of Raleigh lives up to the Saturn message of no haggling. This is nice if you want to know what the vehicle will actually cost you.
One recent change is the addition of OnStar to new vehicles. Saturn already has a reputation for safety and this just enhances it. Even when things go wrong with the car you can get help.
This is a great place to buy a first car. In our family I have provided first cars for each of my children as they receive their licenses. With my youngest I bought a Saturn as we wanted her to have the safest car we could afford.
We brought her to the dealership to just look around. As she and her best friend were browsing the car showroom; her eyes alighted on one special car. It was a gold tone Saturn Sedan. It had a big red bow on the roof.
When the salesman handed her the keys, she was in complete shock. It was great until she drove the car off the lot.
We didn’t see her for hours, until she had shown “All” her friends her new car. That’s a piece they leave out. She still has that car many years later. And it still works as well as it did that first day.
She still has the car and it is running just like it did when we bought it.
The dealership is located off Capital Blvd at a light. The lot is always a little difficult to get into as they place so many cars in such a tight space.
In the dealership they have a cutaway of a car that allows you to see how Saturn has supports the safety issues.
The people here are helpful but also low key.
They have a service side to the business which is very helpful when things don’t go exactly as planned. The services charges are very reasonable for a dealership.
We’ve always promised no haggling and no hassles. Now, on every 2006 Saturn, we promise the safety of OnStar, standard for one year.
And on most models, we promise a lowered price, too. We also promise a 5-Star frontal crash test safety rating. And we give you 30 days to change your mind, part of “The Saturn Total Value Promise”. You’ll get more without paying more. We promise

Johnson Lexus provides the lower end of the upper range of Luxury vehicles.
The people at Johnson are professional and courteous. Although I have never purchased a car at the dealership, I have frequented it when I owned a Lexus. They make service customers feel very comfortable. The cost of service on a luxury car tends to be on the high side, unless you are used to owning a luxury car.
Visiting the lot, you will be greeted and offered service by the sales staff. If you are like me, and like to browse, they will leave you free to do so. If you are seriously looking and want assistance they will help you find your match.
In many ways, luxury cars sell themselves. I personally like the Lexus Sedans because they have the safety you get with a Saturn and the ride you get from a Lincoln.
A Lexus comes with so many gadgets, gizmos and hiding places that it is a big kid’s dream. When I finally parted with my Lexus, I still hadn’t discovered everything it did. One feature skiers might like is a place in the middle of the back seat where it opens to the trunk. You can actually fit skis inside the car using this. This is kind of neat for a sedan.
In my opinion, they have a fantastic service department. The cost of regular maintenance on a Lexus is somewhat on the high side for most folks. The service the dealership provides is of the highest quality. Should your old Lexus should have to spend the night, you get to drive around in their loaner cars which all happen to be the latest model. The new gizmos and gadgets can make you start wishing to upgrade.
Prices range from $32,990 for an ES330 five passenger sedan to $67,990 for an LX470 Luxury Sport Utility. They also have used vehicles available.

Land Rover Cary
The “Demonstration course for showcasing the unique capabilities of a Land Rover” from their website says it all. If you live in the area you can see the promotion on the television and dream about the wild country.
Land Rover Cary carries the famous vehicle of that name. Their demonstration course allows those interested in this type of vehicle to try it out. It is also a good place to learn some of the basic principals for overland (no road) travel.
Both new and pre-owned vehicles are available.
The sales personnel are called “sales guides”. They provide discrete product knowledge of the Land Rover. With a brand like this you expect a more knowledgeable person and they provide this.
The website they provide spells out what the customer should expect in every area from sales to service.
They carry the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and LR3 in the new car section. They invite potential customers to try out a Rover on the demonstration course. This not for the faint of heart, it is a very interesting course to traverse with any vehicle.
For pre-owned in addition to Rovers, they car a small selection of high end cars and SUVs.
