Puppy Love Cookies: Instructions
Use the second largest heart cookie cutter to cut out dog’s head. Bake and cool the cookies. Place cookies on cooling grid positioning over the cookie sheet. Thin royal icing with water to pouring consistency and cover cookies; tap cookie sheet to remove excess icing and let dry.
Tint portion of fondant red, roll 1/8-inch thick and use the third largest cookie cutter to cut the ears. Cut fondant heart in half, shape and position for the ears, attaching with damp brush. Use the smallest heart cookie cutter to cut fondant nose; position on cookie with damp brush. Tint portion of fondant rose, roll 1/8-inch thick and use the large open end of tip 12 to cut spots. Randomly position dots on cookies with damp brush and cut a few cookies in half.
Tint portion of fondant black, roll 1/8-inch thick and use the small open end of tip 12 to cut the eyes and set aside. Use the smallest heart cut out for the right eye; use the small opening of tip 12 to cut a hole in the center of the heart and replace the hole with the black eye dot. Attach both heart and eyes with damp brush. The crafting time for the cookies is 15-30 minutes plus the baking time. The skill level for this craft is 2.
Valentine Foam Bookmark: Materials
Red Craft Foam Sheet
Assorted self-adhesive Craft Foam Hearts, one package
Narrow Red Checked Ribbon
Red Chenille Stem
Black Permanent Marker

Valentine Foam Bookmark: Directions
1. Cut ribbon foam into a 3 inch X 5 inch strip to make bookmark.
2. Glue ribbon along the outer edge of the bookmark.
3. Remove the paper backing from the foam hearts and place them on the bookmark layering some hearts as you go along.
4. Use the permanent marker to personalize some hearts as desired.
5. Cut a 3 inch length of chenille stem. Remove backing from a large foam heart and fold it around one end of the chenille stem to create a mouse head. Cut one of the smallest foam hearts in half to create ears. Place them on the sides of the head. Use the marker to draw eyes and whiskers.
6. Glue the chenille stem to the back of the bookmark

Clay Pot: Instructions: Ask an adult to cut Styrofoam to fit inside pot
Thread beads onto one end of one chenille stem and shape into a heart. Wrap or twist the other end of the stem together with the two remaining chenille stems. Insert the ends into the Styrofoam.
Glue stacked hearts on the sides of the pot and add decorative details and words as desired with paint pen and let dry.
Glue the mini boa piece over the Styrofoam in order to cover. The crafting time on this project is 30-45 minutes plus drying time.
