The hotel exclusively for dogs and cats is for customers who are uneasy about boarding their pets and has been a hit since its original facility opened in Sacramento.
Animals get personalized, reasonably priced care with highly trained and professional staff.
The San Francisco facility at 25 14th Street also has an indoor swimming pool, play groups, grooming, massages, videos for dogs to enjoy, closed circuit TV monitoring, advanced feeding system, and 24-hour drive-through drop-off and pick-up. An advanced air exchange system eliminates odor and airborne germs.
Meals are fed twice daily or as required and specialized diets are adhered to. Staff administers any medication needed and rooms are cleaned daily.
Small dogs are in 4 x 8 x 3 accommodations and enjoy classical music. Price is $34 per day ($28 a day with roommate) and daycare is $22 each day for this size dog.
Medium dogs enjoy 4 x 8 x 7 rooms for $38 daily and $32 per day for roommates. Daycare is $26 every day.
Large canines get a 4 x 10 room with comfortable beds for $42 per day ($34 daily with roommate). Daycare charge is $28 per day.
Mini-suites are available and are 6 x 8 rooms featuring premium beds at $52 each day. Roommates are $42 daily and daycare is $34.00/day.
Luxury suites are 8 x 10 and include plasma TVs, sofas, rugs, and paintings for $72 a day. Roommates’ price is $56 daily. Daycare is $50 daily.
Catteries are 2 x 3 and feature aquariums, a two-story condo, sleep sac beds, and private bathroom for a $20/day price. Daycare charge is $12 per day.
Upgrade packages include standard services and added benefits. The Wag Gold Care Package is $40/day and includes a treat stick, one business walk, and ten percent discount. Platinum Care Package is $80 per day and offers a frozen bone, two business walks, and a massage. A substitute is allowed for the massage.
A la carte exclusives include swim time ($25/session), individual play time ($25 session), premium food ($5), and other amenities.
There is also a Wag Specialized Care Program for pets not able to participate in the usual activities such as those not neutered, in heat, with sutures or drains, requiring shots, aggressive, or with physical limitations.
