The old adage states that any picture is worth a thousand words. There are some pictures that worth more then a thousand words. This picture that is floating around the Internet is a picture that needs to be explored.
This picture has appeared on many conspiracy sites on the Internet. It is considered to be a, “Call to Arms,” by many conspiracy theorists. No one has come forward as stating that they created this picture as of the printing of this article.
The explanation of this picture could fill an entire book. There are so many aspects of this picture, that it will be difficult to explain all of the aspects of this picture to everyone’s understanding. This article will be broken down to discuss separate sections of this picture.
Salesperson:
Some people believe that Wal-Mart workers are nearly brainwashed into believing that they should only think with a corporate mind. The man with the Wal-Mart smiley-face displays this idea in the picture.
The high amount of buttons on his vest is a reference to the movie, “Office Space.” In the movie, Joanna (who is played by Jennifer Aniston) works at a restaurant where the workers are supposed to wear flare on their vests. Flare are small buttons that are supposed to draw attention, and make people feel that the worker is fun and friendly.
Many of the buttons that are on the workers vest are the, “All Seeing Eye.” This symbol holds a triple purpose. First, the symbol can be seen on the back of the dollar bill. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the United States.
Secondly, “The All Seeing Eye,” is a symbol of the Masons. About five years ago, a conspiracy theory surfaced that stated that the Masons created Wal-Mart to attempt to push the ideals of socialism. If all of the workers were to think the same, the Masons would be able to acquire more power through suggestion. This theory is not widely believed.
Thirdly, the symbol is also a symbol of the Illuminati. There are theories that the Illuminati is an organization that is out for world domination. Wal-Mart is a symbol to many of a company that is trying to control the business world.
Wal-Mart has had many charges brought against it over the years for using foreign labor, and illegal aliens. Few of these charges have stuck. Some believe that George Bush has gone out of his way to help Wal-Mart.
The other pins are fairly simple to understand. The letters, “FU,” are self-explanatory. The, “Inside Job,” is another reference to Bush. MSG is also on evil that can be brought from another country.
Flag Stand:
The flag stand displays a sign that states that they are selling, “Patriotic Plastic Flags – Slave-Made in China – Only 37 Pesos or $3.39. This needs to be broken down further.
If you notice, the font is different from word to word in the first line. This is to make sure that you see each word separately. “Patriotic,” and, “Flags,” are supposed to draw your attention first. The word, “Plastic,” is supposed to be secondary.
One of the turning points in American history was the freeing of the slaves after the Civil War. Slave-made patriotic flags are meant to be an oxymoron.
The fact that the flags are made in China is a reference to the uproar that happened right after 9-11 when many of the flags in the US were found to be made in Mexico and China. Wal-Mart and other companies ended up pulling the foreign made flags off of their shelves. Wal-Mart made a press release that stated that the flags were an oversight.
The statement that the flags are only 37 Pesos, or $3.39 is a reference to the actual cost to make the items, and the marked-up price. It is very well known that Wal-Mart and many other companies put a high mark-up on all of their goods. Some people believe that high markups cause companies to appear as untrustworthy.
The statement at the bottom, “Pre Iran War Special,” is a reference to a current series of conspiracies. Many people believe that the US is getting ready for a war with Iran. They state that the US used Iraq as a training ground to get ready for war with Iran. The war with Iran would be used for a majority control of the oil in Iran. If you follow these theories, they will lead you to ideas of George Bush, and the Illuminati leading the people into certain destruction.
The picture also reflects another prejudice against Wal-Mart, and other similar companies. Many will point out that there were many more flags to purchase at Wal-Mart just after 9-11. There have been reports that have stated that Wal-Mart made half a billion dollars off of the attacks of 9-11, and the subsequent attack on Afghanistan. These reports have never been substantiated.
Store:
You will notice that the two customers that are shown in the picture are extremely overweight. Extreme obesity is a symbol for the lower end of the middle class or lower class in America. This is what is believed to be Wal-Mart’s target market.
You will also notice that the signs are printed in black and white. This holds a dual purpose. The phrase, “It is printed in black and white,” refers to the print of newspapers. The idea has been held for years that the government controls newspapers, and the other fields of general media.
Black has been a symbol of death for hundreds of years. Some believe that Wal-Mart is slowly causing the death of the middle class in the United States.
So far, Wal-Mart has not released a statement on this picture. Calls that I have made to the Wal-Mart regional office have gone unanswered as of the printing of this article.
It does not matter if you look at this picture as a call to arms, humor, or as insulting. It cannot be denied that this picture is quickly becoming one of the most popular on the Internet.
