I thoroughly enjoyed doing one of these so much yesterday that I decided to do a shorter one this evening. Besides, I need something to do while I’m waiting for the wife to get home.
Before I make my point I’d like to start off by saying that I’m a huge Phil Mickelson fan. Whenever he has a chance to win I am tuning in. Maybe it was just me but I thought Sunday lacked any real excitement. There was never a time that I thought Phil was going to implode and Sean O’Hair never seemed to be a real threat even though he hung in their for 16 holes.
How painful was it to watch O’Hair on 17? Even Phil looked to have some sympathy in his eyes, as if to say “I know how much that sucks.”
Does anybody care about the Fed-Ex cup? I’m curious as to how many golf fans know exactly how this competition even works. I’d have to look it up because I don’t fully understand it. The overall idea is great for the game but there are definitely some serious flaws that need to be addressed.
My baby Bulls finally defeated Detroit today. The Pistons have been the most impressive and least respected team of these playoffs. My old man picked Detroit to win it all at the beginning of the postseason. Right now he looks to be right on track. The Spurs are the only team that has looked as good as Detroit so far.
The Warriors are my pick for tonight’s game. I’m not sure that anybody can beat them at home in front of the best crowd in the NBA.
I’m saying it right now. The Sabres are not dead yet. Buffalo is a good road team and I am picking them to win game three (as dumb as it might be to do so). Then again I was sure that after Briere tied the game for the Sabres with six seconds remaining Buffalo was going to tie the series. Hats off to Ottawa for not laying down on the road when most teams would have.
Those “messing with Sasquatch” commercials are hilarious. I only ever see them on Versus during NHL Playoff games and I love every single one of them. They’re not very good at promoting their product, though. I can never remember which beef jerky is being advertised.
TNA Sacrifice started about ten minutes ago or so. If Em wasn’t going to be home early tonight I would have considered purchasing this event. Overall the card looks solid, with the weakest match being the world title match. Cage, Sting, and Angle in a triple threat match doesn’t excite me.
I know I’ve said this before but I can see how it would be confusing. I am not actually married. I call Emily “the wife” because I have known her for so long, we have been together for over a year, we now live together and subsequently everything I have is now hers…err, ours.
Just four days until the season finales for both “Scrubs” and “Smallville.” The “Smallville” season finale has to be one of the best shows of the series to out-do last year’s finale (Lex becomes Zod). Nevertheless I can’t wait for these.
As always comments are appreciated. Have a topic that you would like me to talk about? Shoot me a message on AC so that it doesn’t get lost in the shuffle. I’m still entertaining names for what I’ll call this experiment and thanks to those who have offered suggestions thus far.
Emily should be home soon. Time to put pants on.
